Run a real station inside your room.
Queue tracks from YouTube or SoundCloud, paste your stream address into your room, and you're on air. 24/7, in sync, for everyone in the room — even while you're offline.
Included with VuArchives Premium — nothing to install.
§1 How it works
Name your channel
Create a channel. It gets a permanent stream address the moment it exists — on whichever domain you like.
Queue from a link
Paste a link, or line up whole playlists. VuRadio fetches and transcodes everything itself — nothing to upload, nothing to babysit.
Put it in the room
In your room: Media → Radio Streaming, paste, Load. Everyone hears the same station at the same moment — and it keeps playing after you log off.

§3 Further up the dial
IN THE LAB — ROLLING OUT AS IT'S READY. EVERY STATION GETS IT.
Run it with a crew
DJs get the queue. Managers get the station. You stay the owner. Hand the deck to people you trust and let the station run itself.
Your station gets a voice
Station IDs, track intros, dedications — read on air by a DJ voice with full FM processing. Not a robot. Nothing to record.
The request line
Listeners request, you approve, it goes out with a shout-out. Your deck, your call — every time.
Skip votes from inside the room
Only people actually standing in your room get a vote. Majority says skip, it skips.
See the signal
A live spectrum of your station in the dashboard — the real audio, straight from the encoder.
Every station gets a page
Now playing, the queue, the full play history — a public home for your channel, at its own address.
§4 Questions, answered
How do I play a radio station in my IMVU room?
Open Media → Radio Streaming in your room, paste your stream address, and hit Load. Hosts and moderators control it from there — everyone in the room hears the same station, in sync.
Does my station really run 24/7?
Yes. The station runs server-side and keeps broadcasting whether you're online or not. No dead air.
What can I put in the queue?
YouTube and SoundCloud links — single tracks or whole playlists. VuRadio fetches and transcodes everything itself; there's nothing to upload and no DJ software to run.
Do my listeners need to install anything?
No. Radio playback is built into IMVU rooms, so anyone in your room hears your station automatically once it's loaded.
What does VuRadio cost?
It's included with every VuArchives Premium tier. Create a channel from the dashboard in about a minute.
Can other people run my station with me?
Solo today — crew permissions for DJs and managers are in the lab, along with a request line, in-room skip votes, and public station pages. See what's further up the dial.
Radio is built into every room. Yours just needs a frequency.
Included with every VuArchives Premium tier. A channel takes about a minute to set up.
